What is the standard presentation folder size?
9" x 12" with two 4" pockets — it holds letter-size sheets with room to spare. We also produce 4" x 9", 6" x 9", legal size, and fully custom dies.
What pocket style should I choose?
Standard 4" pockets suit most uses. Box pockets expand 1/4"–1/2" for thick handouts; vertical, angled, and curved pockets add design interest. Business card slits go on either pocket.
What paper stock is best for folders?
14 pt C1S is the workhorse — sturdy with a bright printable face. Step up to 16–18 pt for a more substantial feel, or linen/felt texts for a classic uncoated look.
Can folders hold thick packets?
Yes — box-pocket folders with expandable gussets hold 1/4" to 1/2" of material per pocket without bowing.
