November 1981 — The Beginning

Starting with Custom Binders

Binders Inc was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina as a custom binder company. From the beginning, the company focused on dependable service, experienced craftsmanship, and presentation products made to each customer's specifications.

That foundation helped Binders Inc earn the trust of customers and trade partners across finance, healthcare, legal, education, religious organizations, furniture, manufacturing, and many other industries.

Beyond the Binder

What began as a custom binder company evolved into a full-service manufacturer of specialty packaging, custom headers, index tabs, certificate and diploma holders, restaurant menus, document holders, easels, presentation folders, and branded office products.

Binders Inc also became a trusted production partner for commercial printers, distributors, resellers, promotional product firms, and specialty product companies, manufacturing custom products that can be blind-shipped directly to their customers.

2022 — Expanded Capabilities

The Visual Products Acquisition

Binders Inc acquired Visual Products, Inc. in High Point, North Carolina, significantly expanding manufacturing capacity and adding new packaging and specialty product capabilities.

Visual Products brought an experienced team of packaging professionals and its own manufacturing legacy dating to 1967. That history remains an important part of the combined organization while Binders Inc's company history continues from its 1981 founding.
