The most important thing to know about binder lead times: the clock starts at art approval, not at order placement. Here's how to plan backward from your in-hands date.

Typical production windows

• Vinyl and poly binders — typically 2–3 weeks after art approval for standard configurations; rush options are available, including rapid-ship programs when your date is tight.
• Turned edge binders — a multi-step casemade build (print, laminate, wrap, line); plan roughly 3–4 weeks after art approval.
• Litho wrap and entrapment — printing adds a step; comparable to turned edge, and quantity affects scheduling.
• Specialty packaging — quoted per project, since box and tray constructions vary widely.

These are planning figures, not promises — your quote includes the actual schedule for your configuration and quantity.

What starts (and stops) the clock
